The college hosts male students for all the academic year in double and single rooms all with sink, telephone; some of the rooms have their own bathroom. Among the facilities of the college available: canteen, internet connection, tv room, playground, telephone, reading room, reception, chapel, kitchenette and parking.
History: the Centre Salesiano San Benedetto was founded when Don Bosco arrived to Parma, taking care of young people and kids. Opened in November 1888 next to the parish of San Benedetto and its Oratory, the Centre started the activities of the primary and secondary school in October of the following year, soon playing a key role in the cultural life of the town.
More details and features: partly bombed on the 25th April 1944, the buildings were enlarged in 1954 with the opening of a new branch including the Liceo, followed by a second branch in 1968. To 1956 dates the openining of the Convitto to host students of the secondary school while University students can find hospitality here since 1980. Eventually, a new gym was openend in 1994 by don Egidio Viganò, 7th successor of don Bosco.
