Salumeria Garibaldi
Salumeria Garibaldi was founded in the ’50s by two friends who took over the shop opened by an elderly butcher in the middle of Strada Garibaldi, Parma’s main street, which connects the city centre with the railway station. Since then, Salumeria Garibaldi has become famous in Parma and throughout Italy for quality in selecting local products: Prosciutto di Parma, Culatello di Zibello, salame di Felino, Parmigiano Reggiano, porcini mushrooms from Borgotaro and all other kinds of little gastronomic treats, products that have resulted in Parma and its province being rechristened the Food Valley of the world. The owners’ passion for trying and tasting everything that is purchased enables them to pass their own enthusiasm on to customers. Private chef and catering services available.
