Listening to Giuseppe Verdi's music while walking along the streets of Parma is possible. The melodies, selected by Club dei 27, accompany the shopping and the walks from 10.00am to 12.30pm and from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
Departing from the Regio theatre, the tour covers borgo Angelo Mazza then strada al Duomo  with the magnificent Cathedral and Baptistery, Borgo del Parmigianino where the spirit of Francesco Mazzola known as Parmigianino is still lingering in the air for it's here he started to paint.
Along the tour it's possible to admire, besides the small shops and cafes in the old buildings, the most beautiful monuments of the city.
While walking with the unforgettable Verdi melodies as a background music, you can see:  the San  Ludovico gallery,  an animated venue hosting temporary exhibitions, the Stuard gallery with its precious works of art from the 14th to the 19th centuries, the Guanda and Ilaria Alpi libraries and the San Paolo convent with the garden where Stendhal, in the novel The Charterhouse of Parma, sets the secret encounters of Clelia Conti and Fabrizio del Dongo. An ancient Pietà at the corner with vicolo della Asse looks down blessing the pedestrians passing by.
