Presentation of the Michelin Guide

Michelin Guide is ready to put spotlight on Parma for two days and get into the heart of the city.

Parma will host, for the third consecutive time, the presentation of the Michelin Guide, which has reached its 64th edition. An important certificate of trust given to Parma, the capital of the Food Valley, recognized in 2015 by UNESCO as a Creative City of Gastronomy. An edition with many news that will see the Michelin Guide enter the heart of our city, not only for journalists and employees, but also for citizens and tourists in Parma.

The presentation of the Michelin guide new edition will be on Friday November 16 at 11am at the Auditorium Paganini of Parma, a moment reserved to the guests of Michelin, the starred chefs, the international and national press, as will be also the Gala dinner at the Voltoni del Guazzatoio in the Pilotta palace. In the afternoon, guests and press participating to the Michelin event will visit the city and the exhibition Dall'Espressionismo alla nuova Oggettività. Avanguardie in Germania, from November 10 at Palazzo del Governatore.

The Michelin guide wants to make a dedication to Parma on Saturday November 17. The second floor of Palazzo del Governatore will be dressed up in red to wish a special Good morning to the city, with a starred breakfast made of small bakery products tasting and aperitifs by the two starred chefs Enrico Bartolini (multi-starred MUDEC restaurant in Milano - 2 stars, Glam restaurant in Venezia - 1 star, Casual restaurant in Bergamo - 1 star, Restaurant La trattoria di Castiglione della Pescaia - 1 star) and Roberto Rossi (Ristorante Al Silene di Seggiano - 1 star) that will sign the 2019 edition of the Michelin Guide.

Next there will be a complimentary lunch at the Academia Barilla (located at the Barilla Center) where, at 12pm, the starred chef Luigi Taglienti (Ristorante Lume di Milano - 1 star) will take care of a special show cooking on the theme of classic elegance in the kitchen. Two exceptional journalists will present the event: Andrea Grignaffini and Chiara Marando. On that occasion the 2019 edition of the Michelin Guide will be presented to the guests.

To join the Starred Breakfast (reserved for a maximum of 350 people) just pick up the coupon at the box office at Palazzo del Governatore, simply by purchasing the ticket to the exhibition Dall'Espressionismo alla nuova Oggettività. Avanguardie in Germania from November 10, the opening day, available until full capacity.
