At the feet of Mount Croce lies this lovely medieval village, once a strategic junction of streets due to its location along the Romea way, followed by pilgrims to cross the border with Tuscany in order to reach Rome.
Terenzo is now out of the crowded traffic, yet it remains in a strategic position and close to the most important villages of the Appennines as Calestano and Fornovo di Taro.
Set in the heart of the village is the Church of Santo Stefano
while a few chilometers from Terenzo lies the little village of, with its beautiful Pieve of Santa Maria.
