the Oasis is always open. The visit center is open from October to March Thursday from 8.00am to 12.00pm; April, May, June and September from Tuesday to Saturday from 9.00am to 12.00pm, Sunday and festivities from 10.00am to 12.00pm and from 3.00pm to 5.00pm; July and August from Tuesday to Saturday from 9.00am to 12.00pm and from 3.00pm to 5.00pm, Sunday and festivties from 9.00am to 12.00pm and from 3.00pm to 6.00pm.

Description:

rich with flora and fauna, the oasis hosts oaks, chestnut, cherry, walnut, ash, maple and lime trees as well as hazels, wild roses and brooms. More than 80 species of hoofed, such as deer, fallow deer, mouflons live here, making it the ideal place for educational activities and one day trips with kids.

The park is the right surrounding for excursions along its paths. Hiring a guide, you can reach areas equipped to watch vegetation, animals and landscape.
Guided tours in the nature and educational activities in a laboratory for schools are also available. At the visitors centre facilities include a bar and a camper parking.

How to get there:

from Parma follow Via Traversetolo and go on to Neviano and Sasso, or follow Via Langhirano and go on to Capoponte, Val Toccana and Sasso.
